According to the EU regulations, each participant is required to have one seat in a bus even if it is a one day old infant. Therefore, for each trip, every individual is given a separate seat. Unless otherwise mentioned in the trip details, children below 3 years of age on the date of travel pay half price of the usual price for a trip. With this half ticket, the child gets a seat in the bus but no separate bed if there is overnight stay involved for a trip whereas full ticket entitles the child to get both a separate seat and bed during the trip. Note that See-EU Tour Manager may ask for a date of birth proof, if necessary. Note that you may take baby strollers in all of our trips without any extra cost and that you do not need to bring any special baby seat or car seat.
You would need to bring your identification documents with you, whichever applicable, few examples are: Passport, Residence Card, Driving License, Student Card, Company Card, Attestation Document from City hall if you are waiting for your resident card etc. You may travel with B or D Type visa of Belgium also within Schengen territory. The departure timings that we announce on trip pages takes all the pick-up points into account while calculating those timings. However, if there is nobody boarding from one of our pre-announced pick-up points, that naturally affects the pre-announced timings and our team makes necessary changes in timings accordingly. Even if on the website pre-announced timings stay visible always, registered participants of any trip are asked to check and follow the final pick-up timings intimated to them via e-mail in advance of the trip. Therefore, the timings mentioned in our ‘Useful Information’ e-mail sent to all registered participants supersedes the pre-announced timings on our website in such scenarios.
Since there are always a number of people on the waiting list for various trips, we discourage any last-minute cancellation. You must understand that organizing a trip needs planning, payments, booking of rooms, transport etc well in advance. If you want to cancel your reservation, just inform us by e-mail about it. If you cancel your reservation at least 7 working days before the actual departure date of a trip, we will refund the amount (-20%) only if your place is taken by someone else. In that case also we would deduct 20% of the total amount as administrative charges. If you cancel your reservation more than 10 days before the actual departure date of the trip, a fixed amount of 20€ pp shall be deducted from the refund amount as administrative charges. And that there will be no refund of the amount if you cancel your reservation when the trip is departing in less than 7 working days time or if your place/s remain vacant and not taken by anyone else. We cannot adjust the amount for any other trips either since it would amount to indirect refund only. On the other hand, if we cancel a trip due to less number of participants or any other unavoidable reason, the total amount shall be refunded to you without deducting any charges.
For weekend trips, it is not possible to shift your amount or date to another trip to same or different destination since it involves hotel, ticket, other bookings etc and we may not cancel those arrangements once you already booked for that trip. However, if it is a one day trip and the same or different one day trip is organized on same or different date, you may switch your booking to a different trip by paying 5 euro extra surcharge per person (including children). Please note that in case of no show on the day itself and then asking for using your amount for another trip is not possible. Similarly, making any such shift when it is less than 5 days time to the departure of your original trip is also not possible. So any such request of shifting should come at least more than 5 days in advance of your original trip and can be facilitated by paying 5 euro extra surcharge per person as mentioned above.
Since for almost all our trips we receive multiple requests from guests to allot them front row seats due to various reasons e.g. in almost every trip a few requests citing motion sickness or accompanying children whereas we have many children in each of our trips usually. Moreover, we cannot allot front rows for everyone and leave the back rows empty. Hence, in order to keep our seats distribution justified without discrimination towards any of our guests, we allocate our seats in the order of payments received for bookings. Therefore, if you wish to have seat in the front rows of the bus, you must book+pay for a trip quickly. We make an exception though when someone provides a valid medical attest stating the need of specific seats during the journey. You may of course exchange your seat with mutual consent with other guests. If some guests really wish to have guaranteed specific seats of their choice, they may write us an email to enquire about the availability of those seats. Upon confirmation, they would be required to pay 15€ extra for each requested seat.
For our one day trips, we have to follow several European driving hours regulations for our drivers and therefore plan our itinerary in such a manner that you have more than ‘normal’ visit time at any destination. Since violation of any of those regulations shall result in heavy penalties to our company, we cannot take any risk and follow the timings very strictly especially during the one day trips. Hence, we usually go directly to the destination without any breaks unless the journey is longer than 4 hours (more than 400kms). In that case, we take a break on the way and continue further. For our overnight trips, we plan the itinerary in such a way that in normal circumstances we reach our destination somewhere between 9 and 12 AM next day so that we can have the whole day for us to visit the city. We suggest you to check google maps for directions from our last pick-up point for any trip to the city of arrival by road. You will see the distance in kilometers there. You can roughly calculate the journey time using the following formula: 100kms per hour + 2-3 breaks of about 20 minutes each on the way. This will indicate tentative journey time for a specific trip.
The accommodation is usually provided on a shared basis. Most of the times we reserve rooms with 4-6 participants per room. This combination may however be different also. Note that the rooms are always with attached WC/showers in each room. While allotting the rooms to the participants, See-EU Tour Manager always considers the factors like gender combinations, family combinations and group combinations in mind so that the most convenient allotment of rooms is done. You may always inform us if you would like to share the rooms with specific participants. Unless it does not really disturb the whole allotment plan, See-EU Tour Manager always considers it.
You should always check in the trip description just under the price as to what is included in the price. Anything which is not mentioned there is naturally not included. We mostly offer light refreshment on board during the first morning after departure (not during one-day trips) which usually includes juice and a cake. Apart from that, we do not offer any food during the trips. Some See-EU Tour Managers though arrange for dinner or lunch at some local Indian restaurants which you can join. During the journey, participants can utilise the elaborate menu of our on-board shop which offers practically everything you might need during a trip including many hot and cold drinks, snacks, chocolates, domestic items and ready to eat hot Indian meals (both veg & non-veg) served to you on reasonable price. Note that we cannot heat your food on the bus and strongly recommend to utilize our economic and efficient services on board. Our TMs can also give you recommendations for food points during the lunch/dinner breaks. Also note that no hotels in Europe provide any kitchen to their guests to cook their own food. Note that it is only youth hostels (not hotels) that there are such shared kitchens with utensils etc. Knowing the expectations and habits of our lovely Indian guests, we stay primarily in hotels and not in dormitory rooms where you all have to go to shared bathrooms and toilets outside of your own rooms.
